What to expect

We’ll start with gentle warming up, then move through a series of preparations and asanas (yoga postures) and mobilisations for flexibility and strength. There is usually the option to modify to suit your body, or stay with a basic version, or for those who are more used to yoga, to try the next stage.

No one should ever be in any pain whatsoever. My approach is always that we do yoga to feel good! If you push yourself too much, you risk injury and creating tension, so take it easy, relax and enjoy!

We will do some pranayama (breath exercises), usually at the end, and relaxation to finish. Often relaxation takes the form of yoga nidra, or guided relaxation.

You need to book in and complete a confidential health questionnaire before attending a class with Breeze. You may need approval from your doctor if you have certain conditions – it always pays to check.

Book at yogawithbreeze@gmail.com or ring 0210 220 2700 to discuss your needs.

If possible, please attend a free Introduction to Yoga with Breeze session. Details available on the schedule page.
